Warning: Fake Trading Post Emails

Trading Post has received reports that some users have received an email claiming to be from Trading Post. This email is advertising high-value items for sale at an unbelievably low price. The email is usually titled "Hot deals ending soon" and conveys a sense of urgency.

This email is a scam and did NOT originate from Trading Post. Trading Post will never send you direct marketing material without your prior consent.

Some users have clicked on an image in the email and have reported being taken to a fake Trading Post website.

Tips for staying safe:

• Always speak directly to the seller.
• Always inspect the item before buying.
• Never send funds overseas to someone you don’t know.
• Trading Post does NOT offer buyer protection or handle shipping or escrow.
