Fraud Warning 12/11/10

Trading Post urges buyers to show caution when sellers are offering the latest high end electrical goods/in demand items at significantly reduced prices where some or all of the following characteristics are present:

• The item(s) are well under priced
• The seller has bulk volumes of the item(s)
• The seller is insisting on a very hasty transaction
• The seller will only communicate with you via email or SMS
• The seller refuses to allow a physical inspection of the item
• The seller is offering free shipping
• The advertisement directs you to a website away from www.tradingpost.com.au
• Images of the item do not appear to be of the actual item for sale (eg. stock photos copied from another website)
• The seller is insisting on direct bank deposit as the only payment option
