Sellers nominate which options they prefer to deliver the item to you. This can include delivery or pick-up to post or courier service.

Delivery options for Buy Now or Auction items


Buyer to pick up

Inspect & collect the item from the seller personally.
You can arrange pickup after contact details between you and the seller are exchanged through tradingpost.com.au.

I will deliver locally

The seller will deliver the item to you at an agreed location.
You can arrange delivery after contact details between you and the seller are exchanged through tradingpost.com.au.

Buyer can contact me to make arrangements

Work out a delivery arrangement that suits both you and the seller.
After you have indicated your intention to purchase:

  • you will receive the seller’s contact details, and
  • they will receive yours.

You are then free to get in touch and arrange exchange of the item.

Australia Post™ regular

Standard Australia Post™ service.
Delivery timeframes:

  • 1-5 days to capital cities, and
  • 4-6 days to other centres.

Australia Post™ Express

Australia Post™ service for packages of up to 20kg. It:

  • guarantees next-day delivery to most capital cities, and
  • provides fastest possible delivery to other locations.

Australia Post™ registered

A secure Australia Post™ service when you’re selling expensive or precious items.

Provides:

  • tracking service
  • proof of lodgement & assurance of delivery
  • insurance cover.

Courier

A door-door delivery service.
Couriers may be a more expensive method of delivery than some other postal services, but may also be substantially quicker.
You will need to arrange with the seller upon payment confirmation, after which you organise pickup and delivery.
Australia Post™and many private companies offer courier services. You can find a comprehensive list of courier services at www.yellowpages.com.au.

Other

After contact details are exchanged, you and the seller can make alternative delivery arrangements.
