You don’t need a credit card merchant facility set up with your bank, or a secure website or gateway processor service.
All you need to do is register to get started and you can receive secure payments from any credit card or bank account once the buyer has confirmed they will buy the item.

Fast trading

You are notified as soon as the buyer authorises payment. The money is then transferred to your bank account in no more than 2 business days (some payment assessments may take longer).

Low cost and no hidden fees

Unlike bank cheques and money orders, there are no fees for buyers making a purchase from a Trading Post seller using Paymate. Sellers pay a competitive fee.

Payment authorisation takes just 2 minutes. You simply need the seller’s email address to make a secure payment by Visa or Mastercard. If you wish to make a payment direct from your bank account, you will need to register.
Trading Post will email you the seller’s email address after:

• you agree to purchase the item by confirming that you will Buy Now, or
• the seller accepts an offer you’ve made.

Get your purchase fast

You and the seller are notified promptly by email after you authorise payment. The money is then transferred to the seller’s bank account in approximately 2 business days (some payment assessments may take longer). For approved ‘Straight Through Payments’ your seller receives payment the same day and could potentially ship your goods immediately!
