How much will my ad cost?

The fees for your ad are calculated either when you create your ad or when your item sells. The fees are based on:

  • the price of your item
  • how you choose to sell your item (ie Classified, Buy Now or Auction)
  • which ad package you select

When will my ad be published?

Your ad will appear online shortly after you've submitted it.

One thing to note- getting onlinre quickly is all subject to whether your ad adheres to our rules and policies.

Why can’t I find my ad?

Searching for your ad is a great way to help ensure that relevant buyers will come across it easily.

  • Try looking in the category you selected.
  • What words did you write in your title? Try entering these in Search to see if your ad appears.

How do I edit my ad?

If you want to make changes to your ad, you’ll need to sign in and locate your ad under your My Trading Post.

Can I add more pictures to my ad?

Yes! You can add up to 9 pictures to your ad when you create it.

If you’ve already created your ad online, you’ll need to follow the steps to Editing your ad to add more pictures, up to the maximum limit (9).

How do I resize my pictures?

There are a couple of ways to reduce the file size of pictures- you can use either or a combination of both to create a picture with a manageable file size.

  • Image size -The original size of many digital pictures is often large. Reducing the length and width of your picture can reduce file size without affecting the detail.
  • Image resolution (quality) - Print quality pictures are not needed for online use. You can reduce the quality (and file size) and still create a picture that allows a buyer to view all the detail of the original.

How do I renew my classified ad?

You’ll have the opportunity to renew your Classified ad 7 days before it expires. We’ll send you a reminder email that will let you know to renew your ad and how to do it. Once your ad expires, you won’t be able to renew it.

You can also make changes to your ad details when you renew it.
