If you’re looking for something that's hard to find, you can set up an alert to let you know when that item is advertised on our site.

When you set up an alert for an item, we’ll send you an email when that item is advertised. It's simple!

If you find what you’re after, you can cancel your alerts.

How to setup up a Tradingpost alert

Here’s how to set up an alert.

• First, you can search for your item by entering keywords into the search box. If there’s no results, you’ll find a link that says "Get E-mail Alerts". Click on this link.

  

• Next, you’ll be shown a screen that asks for your name and email address, and the name you’d like to give to your alert.

  
• You can also receive news and special offers from Tradingpost. If you don’t wish to receive these messages, uncheck the box.
• Click "Submit".

Once you’ve signed up for an alert, we’ll send you a confirmation email. This email has a link in it which you’ll need to click in order to activate your alert.

How often and how long you will receive alerts

Your alert will be active for 180 days. Ten days before it’s due to expire, we’ll send you a message to ask if you’d like to extend it for another 180 days.

We check daily to see if your item is available, and will send you an alert when it’s advertised on the site. We will only send you an alert when there is a new listing, but if the item you’re after is common, you may receive a new alert up to once a day.

If you’ve set up more than one alert, you’ll receive one email for each.

How to cancel an alert

So you found your thing? Great!

To cancel your alert, open an alert email, and scroll to the end. You’ll find a link “Unsubscribe here”. Click on the link and your alert will be instantly cancelled.

If you can’t find the link or you don’t have access to the email, give one of our friendly staff a call on 13 26 26 and they will be glad to help you unsubscribe from these alerts.
