If you’re looking for something specific, your best bet is to use the keyword search on the home page. For example, if you’re after a Jayco Expanda Caravan – you should include all three keywords to get exactly what you’re after. Sometimes, however, you might be interested to find out more about the kind of item you’re thinking of buying. In this case, you might want to browse through our categories.

Refining your search

If you’ve got a lot of search results, and you want to narrow them down, you can refine your search using the panel on the right of the page. Depending on the item, there will be a range of options, including location, condition, business or private seller, price and more. You can turn these filters on and off. In this example, we searched for a "Holden Barina".

How to save your search

You must be logged in to your account to save your search. You can find out more about registration here, if you don’t already have an account.

When you’ve performed a search, you’ll find a link to "save" your search on the top right hand side of the screen. It looks like this.

Click on this link.

You’ll be directed to a screen asking you to name your search. Type in the name for your search, click save, and hey presto! You’re done.

How to retrieve your search

First, log into the site. Then in Ad Tools, you'll find a section, called “Buying”. Click on "My favourites" link, and you’ll see the option "Saved Searches".

Click on saved searches. That’ll open up the list of your searches. All you need to do is choose the one you want, click the big orange "search" button and away you go.

To delete a search, check the box to the left of the search name, and click on the orange "delete" button.
