There are a couple of different features that distinguish a Buy Now ad:

• They’re advertised at a fixed, not-negotiable price.
• There’s no negotiation, so sometimes you don’t even need to meet the seller.

What you need to do before you agree to "buy now"

You need to know that when you agree to purchase one of these items, you’re entering a binding agreement. So before you do:

• Make sure you ask questions about the item so you’re clear about what you’re getting.
• Check the seller’s feedback from other buyers.
• Have a look at the payment and delivery options, and make sure they suit you.

How to Buy Now

Okay, so here’s how you do it

• When you’re looking at the ad details, click on the Buy Now button. You’ll be taken to a page where you can review the item and commit to buy.

  
• Check the price, and make sure you’re okay with the delivery and payment conditions. These aren’t negotiable, so be sure. If the seller offers more than one payment or delivery option, you can choose the one that suits you best.
• Check the box acknowledging that you’re entering a legally binding contract by commiting to buy.
• Click the big orange "commit to buy" button, to go to the checkout. Your details will be sent to the seller, and their details will be sent to you.
• Finally, pay for the item. Once the seller has received payment, they’ll arrange pick-up or delivery.

Leaving feedback

When you’ve received your item, both you and the seller can leave feedback for each other. It’s important for both of you to complete this last step.

To send feedback and rate the seller:

1. Log in and go to "Bought" items. Find the ad for the item you’ve bought and open it.
2. Click "Send feedback".

3. Click one of these options to rate your experience with the seller:

   Positive	Neutral	Negative

4. Type your feedback comments and click Submit.

What should I write in my feedback comment?

Consider the seller’s trading behaviour.

Did the seller:

• Communicate promptly and in a satisfactory manner?
• Describe the item correctly in the ad?
• Deliver the item or allow you to collect it within a reasonable time frame?

Helpful tips

• Make contact with the seller as soon as you can
  Confirm your details so you can receive the item as quickly as possible.
• Always respond quickly and politely with sellers
  Communication encourages the seller to work with you to resolve any issues or misunderstandings that may occur and complete the sale as soon as possible.
• Check your item’s status in Ad Tools
  Track where the sale is at. Marking the step as you complete it will inform the seller what their next step is.
