How to load a video to your ad
If you’ve selected a premium "Get Noticed" package you can add a video to your ad.
Why you should include a video
Buyers love videos. They’re great for showing off your item to its best advantage (they’re particularly great if you’re selling a puppy, kitten or other sort of pet). You can use them to show how your item works, and to explain any flaws or faults it may have.
For best results:
- Don’t make your video to long – 2 minutes is more than enough.
- Keep it relevant. We know your kids are adorable, but buyers are really only interested in what you’re selling.
How to load your video
Once you’ve placed your ad, signed in, selected your package and paid for your ad you’ll find yourself at a screen showing your ad details.
Click on the orange "Upload video" button. You’ll get a new screen that allows you to browse your computer for the file you’re after. When you’ve found it, click the orange "Upload video" button again. Please note that you will need to agree to our terms of use to be able to add your video.
After you’ve placed your ad
If you decide you want to use a different video, or you want to remove a video, you can go back at any time to edit your ad. Just follow these steps.
- Sign in into Ad Tools and go to your “Live ads” under “Selling”.
- Select the “Add video” button next to your preferred ad.
- Select or search for the video just like you would the first time.
- Click Upload, or Cancel if you’ve accidently selected the wrong file.
