These terms apply to your use of the Trading Post Verified Trader® status on the Trading Post website (Website) which is operated by Telstra Corporation Limited (ABN 33 051 775 556) (us or we).
You are deemed to accept these terms when you apply for Verified Trader® status. Therefore, it is important that you read these terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms you must immediately stop applying for Verified Trader® status.

We may change these terms at any time, and you agree to be bound by such changes. Therefore, it is important that you check these terms each time you use the Website.

General terms


1. Verified Trader® Status

If you are a Trading Post® Online user, you may apply for Verified Trader® status. You will be given Verified Trader® status if you complete the application requirements and your application is approved by us (Trading Post Australia Pty Limited).

2. How to complete your application for Verified Trader® Status

2.1 To apply for Verified Trader® status, you will need to:

  1. be a registered Trading Post® Online user;
  2. complete this online application form; and
  3. download, print and complete the relevant Application for Verified Trader® Status form (either the "Individual" form or the "Business User" form) that is sent to your registered email address at completion of this online application, and present it together with the relevant documentation at your local Australia Post™ office for verification.

2.2 Australia Post™ will perform an identity check and forward the completed Application for Verified Trader® Status form to us for processing. We will then assess your Verified Trader® application and if we approve your application we will grant you Verified Trader® status.

2.3 You must present the Application for Verified Trader® Status form along with the relevant documentation at Australia Post™ within 21 days of completing this Verified Trader® online application form, otherwise your application for Verified Trader® status may expire.

3. Other Verified Trader® terms

3.1 Any documents you present to Australia Post™ for the purpose of your Verified Trader® application must be original and current documents and must otherwise comply with the application requirements.

3.2 To maintain your Verified Trader® status, you must continue to comply with the Trading Post® Online Terms of Use, available here.

3.3 We may revoke or suspend your Verified Trader® status if you breach these terms or the Trading Post® Online Terms of Use, or we reasonably believe it is appropriate to do so.
