Help: Editing ads
After you submit your ad, rules apply to what changes you can make to your ad.
Why make changes to my ad?
You might increase your chances of selling your item if you:
- add your maximum number of pictures
Increase the appeal of your item or provide extra detail that’s hard to describe with words.
- change the description of the item
Make improvements or add more detail to give buyers extra information. Use common phrases or words to help buyers find your item.
- lower the price
Appeal to a wider range of buyers by asking for less.
- add payment & delivery options
Provide multiple options so more buyers are able to purchase or receive your item.
- upgrade your ad package
Help buyers find your item by making your ad stand out. Upgrading your ad to a Get Noticed package will incur additional fees.
What changes can I make to my ad in Ad Tools?
As a rule, you can't:
- change the selling method (e.g. from Buy Now to Classified)
- change categories
Refer to the ad type that applies to your ad.
