Adding Video
If you’ve selected a Get Noticed ad package, you’re able to add one video to your ad to really make it stand out!
Why attach a video
Attaching a video to your ad gives you an additional opportunity to showcase exactly what’s so great about your item.
Use a video to:
- Show your item from every angle
- Demonstrate how your item works
- Show any additional accessories included with your item
- Highlight any faults or flaws in close up
Remember to keep the subject of your video relevant to the item you’re selling so as to attract genuine buyers.
Be mindful of the length of your video- it’s best to keep it short to maintain buyer interest. We recommend a maximum length of 2 minutes.
How to attach your video
When you place your ad
- Once you select Pay & Submit, you will be taken to a screen containing your ad details.
- Select Upload Video, and select or search for the video file you want to attach to your ad in the Browse window
- Click Upload, or Cancel if you’ve accidently selected the wrong file.
After you place your ad
- Login into Ad Tools and go to your Active ads under Selling.
- Select the Add video button next to your preferred ad.
- Select or search for the video file in the Browse window
- Click Upload, or Cancel if you’ve accidently selected the wrong file.
Note: You can only attach one video to each ad. You can change or remove your video if you need to.
Changing or removing videos
Noticed you’ve attached the wrong video, or there’s a something not right with it?
You can remove it straight after you’ve attached it by following the Replace this video link on the screen that confirms your video has been submitted.
Alternatively, you can access your Active ads under Selling in Ad Tools and follow the steps to change or remove your video from your selected ad.
