What is Trading Post® Platinum?
Platinum is an online Trading Post® product that allows you to target your buyers and market your entire business by placing an ad for your business under a specific keyword or category.
Platinum ads appear at the top of a buyer's search results page and provide a direct link to either your website or your Trading Post Hotlist ®.
You simply specify the keyword or category that is relevant to your business, and your ad displays each time a buyer's search criteria includes your keyword or category.

What you need to know about Platinum
Can other businesses advertise with mine?
Three exclusive Platinum ad slots are available per search term or category. This means that up to two other ads may display alongside yours.
Ads randomly rotate throughout the slots so you can't choose a specific location for your ad (ie left, middle or right).
Can I get reports on how my Platinum ad is working?
Trading Post® monitors traffic throughout the site and can provide you with a range of reports to help you measure how effective your Platinum ad or campaign is.
To purchase a Trading Post® Platinum ad slot
- You must be a registered business to purchase a Trading Post® Platinum ad slot.
To discuss becoming a Trading Post® Commercial Customer, please contact Trading Post® Commercial Support on 1800 810 514. - Trading Post® can design your Platinum ad for you or you can provide us with your finished ad as an image in either GIF or JPEG format. This allows you the freedom to display your business and your brand the way you want to.
- Platinum ads must comply with Trading Post® Terms of Use, including the rules on Prohibited Content.
- Your listings must provide a link to a relevant and active site or page. We recommend either linking to a relevant business site, or your Trading Post® Hotlist page.
- You should not include your phone number as part of your ad.
- You must ensure that you can service the particular state in which your Platinum ad is to appear. Trading Post® may remove your ad if you are unable to effectively service the state in which your ad appears.
