  If you’re selling items remember to check your messages regularly so you can reply to buyers’ queries as quickly as possible.
  
  
• Messages from sellers
  When asking a seller a question you can choose to remain anonymous and receive all answers to your questions via My Messages. If you’re bidding on Auctions, sellers may send you a 2nd Offer message to purchase the item after the Auction has closed.
  
  

How do I respond to a buyer’s question?

You can only respond once to a buyer’s question so make sure you provide them with all the information they need to make a decision to purchase your item.

1. Sign in to Ad Tools and go to My Messages.
2. Here, you can see the ad a buyer has asked a question about.
3. Click on the ad to read the question.
4. Then just click the Respond button and type your answer into the space provided.
5. You can also choose to publish the information in your online ad for other potential buyers by checking the Post this response… checkbox.
   
   If you would prefer to keep the information private, simply leave the box unchecked.
   
   
6. Lastly, click Send Reply.

The buyer will receive an email from tradingpost.com.au to let them know you have responded to their question.

How do I read a seller’s response?

2. Here, you can see the item you asked a question about.
   
3. Click on the ad to read the response.
