100 series landcruiser oil specifications Page 9

The 100 Series LandCruiser in Australia came with 1HZ 4.2 diesel, 1HD‑FTE 4.2 turbo‑diesel, 1FZ‑FE 4.5 petrol, and 2UZ‑FE 4.7 petrol V8 engines. For diesels, Toyota typically specifies 15W‑40 meeting API CF/CH‑4 or higher (CI‑4), adjusted for local climate. For the 1FZ‑FE petrol, use 5W‑30 or 10W‑30 meeting API SJ/SL (or later), with hotter regions sometimes stepping to 10W‑40. For the 2UZ‑FE V8 petrol, 5W‑30 (API SL/SM or later) is commonly recommended, again chosen to suit ambient temperatures. Always use quality oil and a fresh filter; exact viscosity charts and capacities depend on model year and market—Consult official documentation for exact figures.
