2000 f1 car Page 2

The 2000 Formula 1 cars were beasts of cutting-edge tech and sheer speed, dominated primarily by the Ferrari F1-2000. This marvel boasted a 3.0-litre V10 engine producing around 805 horsepower, paired with a seamless semi-automatic gearbox. Weighing in at the minimum allowed 600 kg, these cars were the epitome of lightweight engineering. The F1-2000 clinched the Drivers' Championship with Michael Schumacher and the Constructors' title for Ferrari, thanks to its excellent aerodynamics and reliability.

Of course, these cars are priceless collector’s items now, often changing hands for millions of AUD if you can even find one outside a museum or private collection. For those dreaming of a slice of F1 history, the likes of Tradingpost might occasionally list replicas or memorabilia, but genuine race cars are a unicorn breed. Official technical specs and historical details can be found in FIA archives or dedicated F1 historical sources.
