2009 bt 50 towing capacity Page 5

For a 2009 Mazda BT-50, towing ability depends on engine and body style, but the headline figures are straightforward.

Most 3.0-litre turbo-diesel variants are rated to around 3,000 kg braked and 750 kg unbraked. Lower-output 2.5-litre models are typically 2,250–2,500 kg braked, with the same 750 kg unbraked. Keep an eye on GVM/GCM and payload—load it wrong and the ute will sulk like a teenager asked to mow the lawn. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
