The 2022 Adelaide 500 roared back onto the Adelaide Street Circuit as the Supercars season finale, after a hiatus long enough to make fans twitchy.
It delivered the classic format: two 250 km Supercars races across the weekend on the bumpy, unforgiving city layout.
Early December heat, packed grandstands and support categories turned the whole precinct into a petrol-scented festival.
Expect loud, fast and occasionally sideways—street circuits don’t do subtle, and Adelaide certainly doesn’t try.
Bring sunscreen, earplugs and your inside voice for the concert; the cars won’t hear you anyway.
