2023 ford ranger specs australia Page 6

Australia’s 2023 Ford Ranger is the tradie’s Swiss Army knife, only with fewer bottle openers and more torque.

Engines range from a 2.0L single‑turbo diesel (125 kW/405 Nm, 6‑speed auto) to a 2.0L bi‑turbo diesel (154 kW/500 Nm, 10‑speed) and a 3.0L V6 diesel (184 kW/600 Nm, 10‑speed); the Raptor swaps in a 3.0L twin‑turbo petrol V6 (292 kW/583 Nm, 10‑speed).

Most variants claim a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, while the Raptor is rated at 2,500 kg.

Off‑road cred includes a 800 mm wading depth, full‑time 4x4 on the V6, and a wider track that makes corrugations feel like polite suggestions.

Cab tech brings big vertical screens, trailer aids, and enough driver assists to make you feel gently judged at the servo.
