2023 hilux rogue review Page 12

Ah, the 2023 Toyota Hilux Rogue—because why settle for a mere workhorse when you can have a rugged fashion statement? This variant typically boasts a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine churning out around 150 kW and 500 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth 6-speed automatic. It's got all the bells and whistles: touchscreen infotainment, Toyota Safety Sense, and a load capacity that laughs in the face of weekend DIY. New models hover around $60,000 to $70,000 AUD, while used ones might fetch between $45,000 and $60,000 AUD, depending on condition.

Common grumbles include:

• Suspension stiffness on rough terrain
• Infotainment glitches
• Fuel consumption slightly higher than rivals

Check CarShowroom or Tradingpost for the latest deals, and always consult official Toyota specs for the nitty-gritty.
