The 2023 Mazda CX-60 has finally arrived to shake up the midsize SUV market in Australia, boasting a slick new platform and a hybrid powertrain that's as clever as it is efficient. Under the bonnet, you'll find a 3.3-litre inline-six turbo diesel engine paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, delivering a sprightly 227 kW and 700 Nm of torque, enough to make you forget about fuel stops for a while. Inside, Mazda's stepped up with a premium interior that rivals some European heavyweights, featuring a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and upscale materials that feel less 'famously frugal' and more 'you deserve it.'

Prices start around $55,000 AUD for the base model and can climb to nearly $75,000 AUD for the top trims, making it a serious contender. For those hunting used examples, check out Tradingpost or CarShowroom where early listings might pop up. Official specs and updates can be found on Mazda's Australian site and ServiceCentral for servicing details.
