The 2023 Isuzu MU-X interior is built for family chaos and outback grime, not velvet ropes. You get a proper seven-seat layout with loads of storage nooks, rear air vents, and easy-fold seats that don’t require a gym membership to operate. Tech is straightforward: a central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, decent audio, and enough USB ports to charge a scout troop. Materials lean toward tough and wipe-clean, while higher trims add plusher touches like leather-accented seats and heating for when winter gets nippy. The third row is fine for kids or tolerant adults, and there’s useful cargo space once that row is folded. It’s quiet enough on a cruise, too—until the kids start a back-seat karaoke battle, which no engineer has yet solved.
