2023 wrx engine

The 2023 Subaru WRX packs a boxer’s punch—literally—with a 2.4‑litre turbocharged flat‑four under the bonnet. Outputs are a healthy 202 kW and 350 Nm, channelled through either a six‑speed manual or Subaru’s CVT (branded the “Subaru Performance Transmission”) to Symmetrical AWD. It’s torquey, grippy and properly quick, though you won’t mistake it for the old STI’s track-happy lunacy. The soundtrack is more growl than opera, and that broad torque band makes overtakes easy like Sunday morning. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
