Hunting 2024 EVs in Australia? The big hitters are everywhere now: Tesla Model 3/Y, BYD Atto 3/Dolphin/Seal, MG4, Hyundai Kona Electric and Ioniq 5/6, Kia EV6, Polestar 2, and the sharp‑value Volvo EX30. Expect usable ranges of about 350–550 km WLTP depending on variant, with city charging getting easier by the month. New pricing runs roughly from the high‑$30Ks to the low‑$100Ks drive‑away, while lightly‑used examples often shave thousands if you don’t mind someone else’s first charge cycle. Incentives and stamp‑duty breaks vary by state and change often, so do your sums before you get dazzled by a giant touchscreen.
