5000 dollar cars Page 2

Looking for a car that won't force you to sell a kidney? With $5,000 in your pocket, you're squarely in the realm of used, older models. Expect something with high mileage, possibly from the late 1990s to early 2000s. Common options include Toyota Corollas, Ford Falcons, or Holden Commodores—vehicles famed for their reliability but also their age.

Prices vary wildly based on condition and location, but sites like Tradingpost and CarShowroom often have listings in that range. Do yourself a favour: get a pre-purchase inspection, because at this price, surprises lurk under every bonnet. And remember, maintenance costs might bite as much as the initial purchase.
