DESCRIPTION

The Panigale V2 has been given a totally new design, and is the perfect fusion of power and elegance, creating a bike that is visibly leaner and less intimidating than the Panigale V4. Make no mistake though, the V2 remains firmly in the Ducati superbike stable.

The Panigale V2 features include:-

* The 955 cm³ Superquadro engine delivers an additional 5 hp and 2 Nm more of torque compared to the engine on the 959 Panigale. The V2 has a maximum power of 155 hp at 10,750 rpm and a torque of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm and delivers power smoothly and enjoyably on the road while remaining forceful - yet always under control - on the track.

* The frame is a die-cast aluminium monocoque structure, utilizing the Superquadro engine as a stressed member.

* Sophisticated electronics, offering better all-round performance while especially making road riding more enjoyable and user-friendly than ever before.

* A fully die-cast aluminium single-sided swingarm (replacing the double-sided swingarm)

* Improved suspension performance with 43 mm Showa Big Piston Fork at the front, which provide full adjustability in spring pre-load, compression and rebound damping. A Sachs steering damper completes the front-end package. The rear suspension features a fully adjustable, Sachs monoshock, which reacts to the motion imparted by the die-cast single-sided aluminium swingarm via progressive-rate linkage. The shock absorber is side mounted to make the unit fully accessible for rebound and compression damping and spring pre-load adjustments.

* Front brakes use twin M4.32 Brembo monobloc callipers on 320 mm discs, while a single 245 mm disc at the rear is gripped by a single Brembo calliper.

* It has a new seat for greater rider comfort as well as revised ergonomics.
