Mac is a friendly boy who will need to go to a family that will have plenty of time to spend with him throughout the day, providing him with a lot of daily exercise and enrichment. Mac will need plenty of toys and playtime, keeping him busy will keep him out of mischief! Mac has met several other dogs during his stay in foster, and loves to play. If you do already have another dog and you are thinking of adopting Mac, please bring your dog along to the shelter to meet him, so we can see how they interact. Mac's new yard will need to be fully secure, this is so that not only is he kept safe from other dogs etc in his neighbourhood but so that when you are not at home, he remains safe and secure. Mac has shown no interest in cats or pocket pets at the shelter, but should still be introduced to them slowly and under supervision. Mac will do every well in puppy preschool, this will help him with his manners and socialisation. Please ensure any young children are shown how to handle and interact with Mac in a calm and safe manner, and are supervised at all times. Mac has been desexed, vaccinated, vet checked, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. His adoption fee is $350. Please ensure you keep his desexing certificate handy and lifetime register him with your local council as soon as possible. Remember all adoptions are half-price rego!
