Ah, the elusive "aid report" for a car—sounds like a bureaucratic thriller, doesn't it? If you're after an "AID report," you might mean an Accident/Insurance/Damage report or a Vehicle History Report. These documents reveal a car's dark past, including accidents, insurance claims, and sometimes even odometer tampering.

In Australia, services like CarShowroom or Tradingpost often provide access to such reports, sometimes bundled with the vehicle listing. Prices vary, but expect around $30 to $50 AUD for a comprehensive report.

Remember, never buy a car sight unseen without one of these—unless you enjoy surprises that cost more than a night at the pokies.
