amarok 2023 review Page 3

The 2023 Volkswagen Amarok continues to carve its niche in the midsize ute segment with a robust 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel engine delivering approximately 190 kW and 600 Nm of torque. It's a refined beast, boasting a spacious interior and modern tech, but that hefty price tag—starting north of $50,000 AUD for new models—may give some buyers pause, especially when compared to rivals. Used Amaroks can be found on CarShowroom and Tradingpost for less, though reliability and maintenance costs should be factored in. Off-road capability is solid, but the Amarok leans more towards comfort than hardcore adventuring. If you want the full specs and a deep dive into its quirks, best check official docs and ServiceCentral for servicing woes.
