android auto apps australia Page 5

Short answer: in Australia you get pretty much the full Android Auto catalogue. For navigation, expect Google Maps and Waze; for audio, hits like Spotify, YouTube Music, Audible and Pocket Casts play nicely. Messaging is handled via WhatsApp, Telegram and Google Messages, with voice control so you’re not typing like a loon at the lights. There are also compatible apps for radio (e.g., TuneIn, iHeart), plus select EV charging and parking apps, though availability varies by region and provider. Install the app on your phone, open Android Auto settings, and tick it on; if it doesn’t appear, it’s either unsupported or needs an update. Video apps are blocked while driving (no, you can’t watch telly on the move), but audio and navigation are fair game.
