android auto reverse camera Page 177

Ah, the elusive Android Auto reverse camera integration—because who doesn't want their phone to do the parking for them? In reality, Android Auto itself does not directly support reverse camera input; it relies on your car's head unit or aftermarket system to handle the camera feed. If your vehicle or aftermarket head unit supports a reverse camera, it will typically switch to the camera view when you shift into reverse, independently of Android Auto.

So, if you want a reverse camera to work with Android Auto, ensure your car or multimedia system supports it natively. Popular aftermarket units from brands like Pioneer or Kenwood often have this feature built-in.
