attach personalised plates qld Page 3

Attaching personalised plates in Queensland is a straightforward process but don't expect a Hollywood movie car scene. First, you need to purchase your personalised plates through the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads or authorised agents. Once you have your plates, simply bolt them onto your vehicle's front and rear number plate mounts. Remember, the plates must be clearly visible and comply with the QLD specifications.

If you're swapping from standard to personalised plates, you'll need to surrender your old plates and pay a transfer fee, which can be done online or at a service centre. For secondhand personalised plates, check out Tradingpost or CarShowroom to see what's available and how much the market is asking. Always keep your registration details updated to avoid a fine.
