The BYD Atto 3, an electric SUV making waves in Australia, boasts a range of around 420 km on a single charge and a fast-charging capability that can juice it from 0 to 80% in about 30 minutes. It's equipped with a 150 kW electric motor delivering brisk acceleration that's more than enough for city and highway driving. Inside, the Atto 3 offers a surprisingly spacious and tech-laden cabin, with features like a large touchscreen infotainment system and advanced driver-assistance tech. Pricing starts at approximately $46,000 AUD new, while the used market on platforms like Tradingpost might see slightly lower prices depending on condition and mileage. Critics have noted some plastic-heavy interior bits and a less refined ride compared to pricier rivals. For a bold, budget-friendly EV option in Australia, the Atto 3 deserves a look, but check CarShowroom and ServiceCentral for the latest user reviews and service insights.
