audi a3 service cost Page 6

Wondering what an Audi A3 service costs in Australia? Prepare for champagne taste on a beer service budget—almost.

Routine servicing is typically around $350–$700 at a good independent and $500–$950 at a dealer per 12-month/15,000 km visit. Major services (plugs, filters, brake fluid) usually land between $900 and $1,800, with S tronic/DSG fluid changes adding roughly $400–$800 when due. Audi’s 5-year pre-paid service plan for newer A3s often sits around $2,200–$3,500, which can beat pay-as-you-go if you stick to the schedule. Older diesel A3s with timing belts may need a belt and water pump around 90–120k km, often $1,000–$1,800 on top. Not married to dealership espresso? A reputable Euro independent can trim the bill without trimming the quality.
