audi wiki Page 10

Audi is a German automaker based in Ingolstadt, famed for quattro all-wheel drive and interiors so tidy you’ll feel underdressed.

The name “Audi” is a Latin nod to founder August Horch—“horch” means “listen,” so, yes, it’s basically “hear me roar.”

The four rings logo represents the 1932 Auto Union of Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer, which eventually became part of today’s Volkswagen Group.

From RS models to Le Mans glory and a growing e-tron EV lineup, the brand mixes clinical precision with just enough mischief to keep enthusiasts interested.
