average ring size australia Page 39

In Australia, the average women’s ring size hovers around AU L–N (roughly US 6–7, about 16.3–17.3 mm inside diameter).

For blokes, it’s usually AU R–T (about US 9–10, or 18.9–19.8 mm).

Before you sprint to the jeweller like it’s a pit stop, remember fingers swell with heat, salt, and bravado—measure late in the day and twice for luck.

Band width matters too: wider bands often need a half-size up, because physics and knuckles have a sense of humour.

It’s a guide, not gospel; grab a ring sizer or a professional fitting to avoid the old soap-and-twist rescue.
