baby range rover Page 12

Ah, the "baby Range Rover"—a delightful phrase that can mean a few things, but most likely refers to the Range Rover Evoque, the pint-sized sibling of the luxury giant. The Evoque packs a punch with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering around 183 to 246 horsepower, depending on the variant. It's essentially a compact SUV that tries to look posh while navigating tight city streets without guzzling too much fuel.

Prices for a new Evoque start around $70,000 AUD, while used models can be found on Tradingpost or CarShowroom from roughly $35,000 AUD upwards, depending on year and condition. It's not perfect—common issues include

• complex electronics acting up
• expensive maintenance
• occasional transmission quirks

but if you want Range Rover charm in a smaller, less wallet-busting package, this might tick your boxes. Always check the official Land Rover specs and service history before committing.
