Bathurst 1995 was the Tooheys 1000 at Mount Panorama, a 161-lap epic with more plot twists than a soapie.

Larry Perkins and Russell Ingall won in the Castrol Perkins Holden Commodore after a puncture dumped them to the back, then they clawed back a lap and stormed to victory.

It’s the famous last-to-first comeback—equal parts grit, strategy, and a V8 that clearly hadn’t read the script.

If you want a masterclass in Bathurst chaos management, this one’s your study tape.
