best 4x4 tyres australia 2023 Page 6

“Best” 4x4 tyres in Australia for 2023 depends on where you’re pointing the bullbar. For all‑terrain duty that won’t drone your sanity away, popular picks include BFGoodrich All‑Terrain T/A KO2, Toyo Open Country A/T III, Cooper AT3 LT, and Yokohama Geolandar G015. If mud is your happy place, look at Maxxis RAZR MT, Toyo Open Country M/T, or BFGoodrich KM3—more claw, more noise, more grins. Prioritise LT construction, the right load index, solid wet‑grip, and accept the fuel and noise trade‑offs. Budget roughly $230–$400 per tyre for common sizes (big rigs more), and rotate every 10,000 km so they don’t go Picasso on the edges.
