best baby capsule 2023 Page 9

“Best” baby capsule in 2023 really means “best for your car, your bub, and your sanity.” Start by choosing a model that meets AS/NZS 1754, fits your vehicle properly, and offers ISOFIX for easy, repeatable installs. Check height/weight limits, side-impact protection, and how the capsule clicks in and out when you’ve only got one free hand and a pram giving you side-eye. Brands like Britax Safe-n-Sound, Maxi-Cosi, Infasecure and Nuna are well-regarded, but the right choice is the one that fits your car and your child correctly. Consult CREP ratings, try the seat in your car before buying, and avoid second-hand units with unknown crash history. When in doubt, get a professional install—nothing says peace of mind like belts routed by someone who’s done it a thousand times.
