best ctp insurer sa Page 8

In SA you get to choose your CTP insurer at rego time, and “best” depends on your car, address, and luck with the actuarial tea leaves. The differences are usually in service, extras, and quote variability rather than core cover.

• AAMI: straightforward online quoting and clear comms; may not be the cheapest in some postcodes.
• Allianz: strong claims support reputation; pricing can swing with risk profile.
• QBE: solid national footprint and fleet know‑how; quotes can vary between vehicles and drivers.
• SGIC: SA-focused brand with local familiarity; fewer bells-and-whistles than some rivals.

Compare quotes side by side in the Service SA portal, check claim handling reviews, and pick the one that suits your budget and patience—no trophies awarded here.
