For iPhones with MagSafe, the Belkin BoostCharge or ESR HaloLock hold like a barnacle and don’t rattle your dash; add a 15W charger if you’re forever on Google Maps. If you want unshakeable, the Peak Design or Quad Lock magnetic mounts trade a bit of elegance for rock‑solid grip over corrugations.

Androids can join the party with a thin metal ring or MagSafe‑compatible case; just avoid super‑thick cases that blunt the magnet. Vent mounts are easy but can sag in summer; dash/windscreen mounts stay put, but mind Australia’s rules about not blocking your view.

Whatever you pick, look for a swivel joint, a proper clamp, and an adhesive pad rated for heat—because the sun here isn’t mucking around.
