best off road pram Page 2

If you’re tackling gravel paths and corrugations, the “best off-road pram” means big wheels, real suspension, and tyres that don’t pancake at the first pothole. Top picks in Australia include the Thule Urban Glide, Baby Jogger Summit X3, Mountain Buggy Terrain, and UPPAbaby Ridge.

Thule Urban Glide: pros—lightweight and smooth with a tidy one-hand fold; cons—storage isn’t the biggest and the seat angle won’t suit every giant toddler. Baby Jogger Summit X3: pros—air-filled tyres, sturdy frame, and a hand brake; cons—bulky when folded and on the heavier side. Mountain Buggy Terrain: pros—tough build and excellent off-road manners; cons—heft and tyre upkeep. UPPAbaby Ridge: pros—planted ride and strong braking; cons—pricey with some accessories sold separately. Look for large-diameter wheels, a lockable front wheel, wrist strap, and a fold that actually fits your boot, then go conquer the footpaths like a legend.
