Looking for the best sunglasses to keep the Aussie sun from frying your eyeballs while you’re behind the wheel? Aim for polarised lenses to cut glare off wet roads and shiny surfaces, and pick frames that offer wrap-around protection to block sunlight from every angle. Don't overlook UV protection—go for 100% UV400 blocking lenses to safeguard your retinas. Brands like Oakley, Ray-Ban, and Maui Jim are popular choices, but you can find decent options at CarShowroom or Tradingpost for a range of prices. Expect to pay anywhere from around $50 for budget pairs up to $300 for premium models. Remember, style points won't help if you can't see the road, so prioritize function over fashion.
