best vacuum for caravan Page 4

For caravans, the best vacuum is light, cordless, and ruthless on crumbs that multiply after a meat pie.

An 18-36V cordless stick with a removable battery, hard-floor head and HEPA filtration keeps weight under about 3 kg and storage fuss to a minimum.

If you're off-grid a lot, a compact 12V vac that plugs into the van or a small wet/dry unit for sandy mats earns its keep.

Look for decent runtime (20-40 minutes), an easy-to-empty bin, and crevice tools that reach the bits where Weet-Bix dust goes to retire.

Skip the noisy toys with weak suction and no spare battery; they'll quit faster than a teenager at 7am.

Budget roughly $80-$150 AUD for basic 12V, and $200-$400 AUD for solid cordless sticks, then enjoy not sleeping on a beach of crumbs.
