best wireless car charger Page 8

Hunting the best wireless car charger? The real magic is Qi 15 W (or Qi2/MagSafe for iPhone), a rock-solid mount, and heat control so your phone doesn’t go full toasted crumpet.

Here’s the cheat sheet—pick your mount style and trade-offs:

• Vent mount: Pros—keeps phone cool; easy reach. Cons—floppy vents; blocked airflow in winter.
• Dash/windscreen arm: Pros—stable and adjustable. Cons—can wobble on rough roads; can clutter your view.
• MagSafe/aligned puck cradle: Pros—one-handed snap; strong alignment. Cons—iPhone-focused; needs a MagSafe case for best grip.

Whichever you choose, pair it with a USB‑C PD 20 W+ adapter and a quality cable, mount it low and clear of airbags, and expect faster charging only when the cabin’s cool.
