biggest boot space 7 seater suv australia

Chasing the biggest boot in a 7-seat SUV? With all three rows up, the Hyundai Palisade is usually near the top at about 300–310 L, while the Ford Everest and Toyota Kluger tend to sit around 250–260 L and 240–250 L respectively.

Drop a size and you’re looking at roughly 180–230 L in the Mazda CX-9/CX-90 and Kia Sorento—fine for school bags, less ideal for camping gear and a Labrador.

Fold the third row and most large SUVs balloon to a generous 1,000–1,300 L, with ute-based wagons (Everest, MU-X) often on the brawnier end.

If pure cargo is the mission and you don’t mind the “Dad bus” vibe, a people mover like the Kia Carnival will out-boot the lot (not an SUV, but still smugly practical).

Numbers vary by model year and how they’re measured (VDA vs SAE), so take your luggage for a test-fit. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
