“BMW Next 100” was the 2016 centenary showcase where BMW imagined its next century with unapologetically sci‑fi concepts. The star was the BMW Vision Next 100—shape‑shifting “Alive Geometry,” autonomous‑ready brains, and an electrified heart—joined by MINI, Rolls‑Royce (103EX), and Motorrad future-mobiles. It wasn’t a production promise, more a glossy manifesto for an autonomous, connected, electric future. No prices or delivery dates, just ideas to make engineers swoon and accountants sweat. In Australia it meant tours and tech demos, not dealer stock. Brilliant theatre, but you can’t register a vision—yet.
