Every listing carries the asking price and the seller's contact details, and most set out the hull length, the engine make and its hours, and whether a registered trailer goes with the boat. Ask about the hull material as well: fibreglass rides softer in a chop, while plate alloy shrugs off a knock and is easier to repair. Check that the boat and the trailer both hold current registration, and ask to see survey paperwork on anything you intend to work commercially.
