My Life is a Girdle - Fleur Trotter Series #4 - Killeen Gretel - 2003

288 pages. Lightly tanned pages. Clear, self-adhesive laminate to covers/boards. Ex-library with usual marks, stamps, stickers.. Fleur Trotter has become something of a cult hero, with her cynical yet ultimately optimistic outlook on life which is enjoyed for both its humour and its wisdom. Speaking for all confused, bored, know-all, know-nothing, smart-arsed girls of our time, Fleur has become a bosom buddy to literally thousands of young Australians. And now, at last, their cries for more hysterical antics have been answered. In this fourth adventure, Fleur is spying on her family while writing in her new diary because she thinks they are planning her birthday surprise and she wants to catch them at it. While squatting in the garden trying to pee, she is suddenly sprung by a film crew who've come to document the extended Trotter household for a reality TV show. The Trotters could win heaps of money, so Fleur has to play by the rules - if only she could find out what they are. In the meantime, Fleur's ex-boyfriend Dwayne has left the Trotter house (where he has lived since he lost his parents to spontaneous combustion) in a cloud of jealousy, and no one knows what has become of him. Has he actually walked out for good? This is Fleur as you've never seen her before. And could this be her last diary ever? Quantity Available: 1.
